What do we do in session?
I offer a safe and open space for you to explore yourself. You can bring anything into the session. Then we may feel, sense into and reflect our way through it together.
We can use inner-parts work to understand the ‘inner committee’ that steers your life. I may ask you to draw, paint or otherwise express yourself to make these parts visible and to give them a voice. You do not need any prior experience. I help you to access, express and understand them in ways that are natural to you.
We work with unconscious material that is provided through dreams, art and movement. I may also offer external materials and literature if suitable.
We can work with the body’s somatic movements and its natural responses to our inquiries. To reduce stress, access and release stuck energy we can do somatic exercises for nervous system regulation.
My practice is conveniently located next to the Kivinokka and Herttoniemi nature areas, going outside is also an option. I know that support-needs can greatly vary, and I am open to finding out with you what works best for you.

Nonetheless, the centre of reference always remains in my practice in Herttoniemi where your privacy and confidentiality are guaranteed.
It is also important that we regularly check-in on our relationship, to manage expectations, progress, and so you may always feel safe to bring up any difficulties you face with me. A considerable amount of growth happens in the quality and nature of the therapeutic relationship.

It will be uncomfortable and exhausting at times, going through inner transformation is challenging. It is advisable to meet this demanding aspect to inner-work by taking some time off after each session.
